Kirkland Boardwalk isn’t just an apartment building – it’s a high-end lifestyle play on the Lake Washington waterfront. They needed a digital presence that matched the “boutique luxury” vibe – sophisticated, ultra-clean, and focused on the view. Most recently, the mission was to lead the market in fee transparency by integrating a Clear Price Experience directly into their leasing funnel.
The Fix
We prioritized a “visual-first” architecture while tackling complex technical hurdles. Beyond the custom UI and high-contrast Google Cloud maps, we implemented a bespoke RentCafe Cost Calculator. We didn’t just embed a widget – we surgically re-engineered it to fit the brand. We programmatically added padding for mobile stability, styled buttons to make them “pop,” and even overwrote mislabeled RentCafe labels to simplify the UX – changing confusing button text like “Calculate without add-ons” to a direct, punchy “Calculate.”
The Outcome: Radical Transparency
The site now serves as more than a brochure – it’s a high-precision financial tool.
The Result: Prospects can now “Estimate your rent” with 100% accuracy – including add-ons – directly from the floor plan cards. This eliminates pricing guesswork and builds immediate trust, driving higher-quality leasing applications.
